ABOUT USOUR STORY

In June 2017, Rupert Taylor, then Operations Manager for the Rugby Portobello Trust, the first organisation to open it’s doors to the survivors of the tower at 3.30am, was talking to a survivor of the Tower.  Paul Menacer had suffered with the loss of his parents, and had now lost his home.  Rupert asked him, what he had done to help him through such a difficult time, and the answer he gave was, ‘Football.’  Rupert decided on the spot that he was going to start a football team, and by August 2017 training had begun.

ABOUT USOUR
MISSION

Our Objectives as a Charity are the promotion of community participation in healthy recreation by the provision of the facilities of Football.  However, our Mission Statement goes beyond football to say we want “to enrich the community by providing talented individuals with opportunities that will enhance their life experiences and challenge them to become the best versions of themselves.”
