Fire Services Tour
August 2021, right after Covid which was a very challenging time for everyone, including many of our players. We took the decision to embark on our first Pre-season tour, taking on many of the Fire Services Football Teams across the country in an epic 10 day tour of the UK.
Starting in Ipswich, we then went on to play the Fire Services football teams in Manchester, Newcastle and Liverpool finishing the 5-day pre-season friendly tour with a match against the London Fire Brigade.
The tour is not only about improving football, it is about building bonds between the players and the management, and it is also about giving our players a respite from their day to day lives. Being away from the area, and away from the
